主讲人简介：雷震，西南财经大学教授，博士生导师，四川省“天府万人计划”领军人才、“金融英才”，四川省学术与技术带头人。2018年创立西南财经大学校级研究中心--中国行为经济与行为金融研究中心（CCBEF），担任主任至今。2004年师从著名经济学家刘诗白教授攻读国民经济学专业博士，2007年毕业后留校任教。2011年9月-2012年9月访问美国佐治亚州立大学，跟随James Cox教授从事实验与行为经济学、行为金融学研究，2021年9月至2022年1月在北京大学国家发展研究院做访问学者。先后在经济研究、管理世界、经济学季刊、世界经济、心理学报、Neuroscience and Biobehavioral Reviews、Scientific Reports等国内外知名期刊发表论文多篇，主持国家社科基金、教育部人文社科基金等项目，主研国家自科重点、自科面上等项目，获2015-2016年度《经济学季刊》德国Werner Jackstädt 博士“中国经济和商业研究最佳论文奖”等奖励。

摘要：We conducted a large-scale experiment in Singapore and China to study whether the propensity for selfishness (alpha) and the tradeoff between efficiency and equality (rho) are the mediators from gender to subjects' behaviors in social games. We measure these two motives by using five distributing decisions in A-M Dictator Games and the results show that gender is a key determinant of these two motives and females are more selfish and less efficiency-oriented than males. We further provide evidence that these two motives significantly drive subjects' behaviors in various social games. Besides this indirect channel, gender also has a direct effect on subjects' behavior in various social games. Our findings provide deeper understandings of the motives of subjects' behaviors and gender differences in social games.
