题目：数字经济是否促进中国服务业结构升级——基于中国国家电子商务示范城市试点政策的经验证据

摘要：服务业数字化是构建优质高效现代产业体系的重要途径。在国家电子商务示范城市试点政策的带动下，电子商务极大地促进了城市服务业结构升级和数字经济发展。基于2006~2019年中国城市的面板数据，本文以国家电子商务示范城市这一外生政策作为准自然实验，采用异质性效应的交叠双重差分模型，实证分析了数字经济对城市服务业结构升级的影响。研究表明，电子商务示范城市试点政策对服务业结构升级具有显著的促进作用，且这一政策效应在东部城市、大规模城市、珠江三角洲城市群城市中表现更为明显。机制检验表明，电子商务示范城市试点政策通过技术效应、渠道效应和需求效应对城市服务业结构升级产生影响。本文研究结论为充分发挥数字经济的结构优化效应，进而促进中国服务业高质量发展提供了政策启示。

题目：Auto-Switching Services

摘要：This note examines the auto-switching service where information intermediaries act a role that provide consumers with the best available deal. An (inverse) demand function is constructed to establish the equilibrium where the auto-switching service charge a fee and consumers participate the service endogenously. We also examine the impact of exogenous market parameters on the welfare, where we find that consumer surplus increases in the present of such a service, but as the number of firms goes up, most of the surpluses are extracted by the auto-switching service. The results provide insights into the functioning of auto-switching services and their impact on consumer welfare.
